The Verdict

With the girls in school and Nicolas in tow, I headed downtown to the Marienhausklinik (German Hospital) for my 16 week OB appt. Alone in the bathroom this morning, I secretly wished to find out that we were having a baby boy... I know Nico and I both said that we didn't care what it would be, as long as it turned out healthy - and it's TRUE! I'm completely fine with the outcome :) (disclaimer, the picture below is NOT my belly!) I borrowed it for the message hehehe...

I was also secretly disappointed when there was no penis... I'd had ONE small curiosity of what it would be like to have a baby boy... someone for Nico to play cars and planes with. I'd have different colors to buy, besides pink and purple! I could decorate in little boy stuff... There would be.. would be... bah, nevermind. Coulda wouldas don't do anything for us now!

I'm totally excited about the new baby - who we will call Victoria Raye. For those who have been following my blog, my aunt's name is Victoria and she is the most ultimate, awesomest, and special person in my life... and I wanted to honor her (or rather honor MYSELF) by naming our last daughter after her. That and I already had the "V" theme working for me... Stevie, Ava... Victoria... get it? :P

Anyway, that's our latest news. Another baby girl to the Durgeat Family in October. Yay!
