At my last job interview, the guy asked me "What did you love most about your last job?"
TECHNICALLY, my last job was a receptionist/vet tech at an animal hospital... However - my thoughts turned to the military. I took a deep, 1/2 breath and my heart spilled over... I choked. I might have said everything... I might have said my sense of purpose... but the truth is, I loved everything.
When I'm asked what I loved about the military, my career flashes before my eyes. Boot camp, tech school, first base, good supervisors, great commanders, bad ones too... TDYs, deployments, experiences... songs, and parties and laughs and cries. Awards, and punishment. Germany... Europe... Marriage, babies... Jet fuel and afterburners, sirens and mortars. . .
Everything.
