Well, so did quite a few other people too! :) Thank you Michelle for nominating me for the Beautiful Blogger award... as the rules state, I'm supposed to share 7 things that people don't know about me, and then pass the award on to 7 people. I might have to nominate people who've already been awarded though, cause I honestly don't follow that many! So here goes my 7 things:1. As a child, I never dreamed I'd leave Sonora, TX. In fact, I didn't want to! Growing up in such a small town, the world seemed like a huge and scary place - who WOULD want to venture out into the unknown? But as I grew, I learned more, loved more, and have ended up living more than I ever thought possible for myself!
2. I thought I was the only person who practiced "speeches" in the car until I read Shalayne's blog! I've often thought up what I'd say at friend's funerals, or their going away luncheons, or if I received an award and had to speak publicly about it.
3. At work, after I use the bathroom... I'll take one look at myself in the mirror on the way out and make the most messed up face I can think of before I head back to my desk. I humor myself.
4. The choices I make are based on stories that I'll tell my grandchildren when I'm older... I live to be a great example for those kids I don't even know!
5. I've been married 3 years and I still haven't had a honeymoon. I'm so torn about WHERE I want to go!! Now that I know the world isn't so small after all, and anything is possible... well, where do we go!?
6. Ever since having children, someone turned the lightswitch on in my heart. The TINIEST things make me bawl like a baby... (not sad, but happy tears.) Overwhelming emotion that just swells inside of me and spills out my eyes. I hate getting made fun of for crying so much!
7. I'm secretly afraid of dying young. I want to live to watch my children grow and have babies of their own. I'm not done opening each new day like it's a gift from God. I can't wait to see the places I'll go, the people I'll meet, or the memories I'll carry with me forever.
