But one step at a time, she's growing up. Teething, walking, talking... now she's in a big girl bed, and just last night - her first night without a pacifier. She knows how to drink from a big girl cup, and she can use a fork. She sings her ABCs, and can say small words like "Puppy, kitty, birdy, owwie, AVA!, Zeus, Thi-Thi, Daddy, Mommy, Book, Ball, Bite-Bite, Ni-Ni, Bye-Bye, Juice, No, Yes, What?!" and the list goes on.
It's bittersweet, welcoming her toddler years and saying goodbye to infancy FOREVER :( I'm slowly getting rid of all the infant things... toys, the crib, clothes... I'm surrounded in women, at work, who are having or have recently had babies. I had the opportunity to cuddle one last week and ohhhhh the fever set in! I wanted another! (but then I came home to my own and was like... "oh yeah, no thanks!" hahaha :D
Now - counting down to potty training so I can say goodbye to DIAPERS!!
