My bizzy life...

Every night, I do check my blog. I pull it up, and scroll straight to the bottom to see who else might have posted something new. Then, I close it without clicking "new post" at the top. I'm too tired to even breathe sometimes. My new job is overwhelming (in a good way.) I've finally been given the opportunity to be "the big girl" and I'm in charge of others. I'm smack dab in the middle of simplifying processes and making sense of the nonsense and unmessing the mess... I'm involved in harsh realities, and bittersweet memories and I'm facing a buttload of brand new experiences every single day.

I have money to spend. I have things I need to buy. There was a time when shopping online was something I looked forward to! Now, it's just another thing on my "to do" list, and it's REALLY far down there. TMI probably, but I've got one bra left that clips in the back. (the rest are sports bras.) My oldest needs spring/summer clothes. I want jersey knit sheets for my bed. Hell, I've got a $50 gift card left over from Christmas that I still haven't spent! A FREE $50!

I haven't blogged about my hot air balloon ride. It was amazing! A date night with the hubby... an hour of floating over the Eifel region here in Germany. A brilliant, deafening silence high above the treetops. I'd definitely do it again.

My gorgeous... helping set up for the ride

Pondering the what ifs... What if we fall? What if the winds pick up? What if?!!?

The flame was so warm!

That was a tiny basket!
What else have we done? In no particular order....

Stevie's track meet... She did really great in the 4x100m relay! She ran second leg - and caught up to the individual in front of her. No, she doesn't run track regularly... the high school students held a fundraiser where 1-5th graders could pay $10 and spend the afternoon learning the different events in track & field and then have a little competition at the end. It was a lot of fun!

Run, Stevie... RUN!

Tryin' out her long jump :)
No pictures posted... but we went for a hike in Belgium last weekend. The highlight of the WHOLE day was stopping for Belgian waffles while the girls played at the park.

Took my camera to work to say goodbye to two more of my Stinger brothers and their families. Maj Tommy Young and Capt Robbie Sandwith (and their wives and children.) They're moving on to other bases and continuing their Air Force adventure!!

Lauren, Camden and Tommy

Isaac, Melissa and Robbie
Who could miss out on Easter Egg Hunting?! I know, tomorrow is Easter... but we couldn't pass up a race to find the most eggs before it rained!

This is about what we see of Stevie on a regular basis... just a blur!

Bad hair days are contagious :D

Couple more months and she'll really fit into Ava's old clothes!

No, I don't WANNA count my eggs! Put them back in the basket mommy...
Ok... I know I've left a lot of life out, but that's for another post. Thanks for reading!
