I wish I had pictures to explain these words... but I can only share, and document for my OWN good later on.
Ava's started interactive playing. Tonight, I was playing around on the laptop while sitting on the couch, and I looked down to find Ava sitting on the carpet with her tea party stuff... Loudly proclaiming "Stevie!! Steeeeeevie!!" (sounds more like Steee Beee!) Stevie had her head buried in the TV, ignoring Ava. So I said Stevie, your sister is calling you! Stevie says "What Ava?" And Ava pats the carpet, calling Stevie to sit beside her so she can have some 'tea.'
There are also days where they play hide and seek together in the house. Ava's favorite place to hide Stevie is in the hallway closet. She'll wrap her arms around Stevie's waist and pull her to the closet, open the door and shove her in. Whenever Stevie tries to come out, Ava yells at her and forces her back in!
When Stevie's doing her homework, Ava prefers to color alongside her. When Stevie changes the channel on the TV, Ava gets SO angry and protests "MY REMOTE!" and grabs it and puts it back on her cartoons... Ohhhh sibling rivalry.
What I love the most though, is seeing my children laughing together. Playing chase in the house, tickling one another in the floor, and sliding out on the playground...
